Silent, reliable system

Toshiba DC Hybrid inverter technology combines two important control systems to ensure absolute comfort and maximised energy savings: PAM (Pulse Amplitude Modulation), that generates maximum power at start-up, and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), that optimizes the effi ciency once the ideal temperature has been reached.

Toshiba knows that sound level is one of the most important features for its customers: this is the reason why we’ve been trying to create an unobtrusive system, discreet and silent, that operates without any disturbance, for you, your family and your neighbours. This objective has been achieved! In fact, SKV Inverter high-wall is the most silent indoor unit in its category, with only 20 dB(A), even the outdoor unit provides extraordinarily low sound levels.

COP (Coefficient of Performance) or Efficiency is the ratio of energy input to energy output. ie. a system with a COP / EER of 3.5 would produce 3.5kW of heat on the heating cycle for each 1.0kW of electrical energy input and remove 3.5kW of heat on the cooling cycle.
